The Embrace

all your thoughts
stuck between signals
stuck between receivers
another word of yours
a lovely ‘hello’
lost in space in the form of an impulse

another day passes
can he feel the ‘hello’
arriveth from a distant world
clearing the wicked passages
and complex networks

a sudden burst of sound
a path formed between two souls
a vibrant ‘hello’
from a face so vivid in the memory
a voice so placid with amour

he’s counting the beads of time
the miles that distanced you from him
the smiles that are suspended from your memories
into the river of time he wanted to plunge
raft across the currents to reach
an isolated bank

You wait for him
to anchor his commitment
the purple hues on the skies
those sunflowers dancing to the zephyrs,
moonlight mirrored by the river
in loneliness you wait
with arms wide open

No more electric impulses,
the signals we possess
carry infinite energy
and so his words fall
one by one
with you repeating them in seriatim

the long awaited moment has passed
with your tear drops feeling the gravity
his hands caressing your hair
and a promise that sees no end
you walk into the fields
feeling the warmth of this new world…

the energy of this universe is compounded by love
an infinite dimensional vector

Sailor’s Sonata

An island of hope washed away by time,

Latitudes and longitudes filled the distance between us,

Anchor cried in vain for a dip into the waters,

But no shore would accept the presence of this lost sailor,

Compass pointed out that I reached a dead-end,

Neither the sands of time, nor the tides of ocean could guide me home,

Lost in the ocean of your thoughts,

The beads of your necklace falling apart,

The seas and the skies prayed in unison for your embrace

Crossing the myriad storms orchestrated by the seas,

Sails ripped off by the wild winds,

I lay dormant in my sinking boat

In my ears weaved the notes of redemption,

Those drums inside felt your presence like a crescendo

Faint beacons sail past the airwaves towards the shores.

COLD

Part I

When the patterns of the galaxies,
The stars and the constellations
Bend towards a new direction
It’s time to get ready for a
Cold ride.

On the days past the solstice,
When the sun tends to die early,
These are the signals for the
Cold nights.

The river of solace
That enjoyed your embrace,
Now looks up to you with a
Cold eye.

When the maples fell like rain drops,
And the trees formed a tower of twigs,
You stood wondering at the
Cold sight.

As frost flew out of our mouth,
Snow settled on our tongues,
We danced under the nights lit by
Cold fire.

The branches of those dried trees
Warped into strings that let out waltzes
To the winter winds creating a
Cold tune.

Part II

The haze and daze of the sun,
Blurry days on the reign,
and the compass needles stood perplexed
Paddling me close to the
Cold storm.

Winds sheared past my ears,
Like a voice that had been ignored for years,
Reminding of two inseparable souls,
that had been split by a
Cold wall.

The midnight glow
Illuminated by your halo,
My heart felt calmer than a storm,
For this day you broke the
Cold silence.

There are million circumstances,
Leading to grim consequences,
We just dive into the pain and
Break the bars of the
Cold cell

The cold winters disappear
From the warmth of a smile on our lips
